January Techniques

Well, I had a Happy birthday and presents and cake to but no pictures of new stuff that arrived today, I'll get a few photos tomorrow and post and let you see some of the goodies. Thanks you all of you who sent cards and well wishes and all the messages for a Happy Birthday on Facebook too. Really enjoyed it today. Okay now for the posting today. I have 2 cards that we did with the techniques this month first was Faux stitching and second was paper piecing. 2 cute little cards. I believe everyone enjoyed them as well.

 

This is the technique on the top note that goes on the ring to keep them all together I'll show a photo of the front at the end.

Here is the technique used on a card. The black you see at the bottom is a narrow strip on the inside of card, makes the scallop edge show better.
