This is the third card I made the other day when I started out to make something fun. I really find this card unusual for me as I normally stay away from Father's Day (My dad died when I was 8 and even though I had a step dad he has been gone 10 years this year) and Mother's Day cards, because even though I am a mom I don't make my own and I have no parents left to make them for neither does my husband. So I kind of think it is funny I made this a mother's day card (I lost my mom 8 years ago this April, sadly Joey hardly remembers her), but I do think it came out well and I LOVE the colors, I did Pretty in Pink in the base then highlighted with Regal Rose, Certainly Celery and Old Olive again for the stems/leaves. I added a little dazzling diamonds to this one as well. Remember to hug the ones you love and be thankful if you still have your parents around.
