Well today after I had finished the stuff for retreat this weekend, I let myself play a little. Here is one of 3 cards I came up with. I'll share the other two over the next two days as well.
Supplies: Abundant Hope (mini occasions catalog page 24)
Barely Banana cardstock, with So Saffron stamped on top with the sanded background stamp.
I stamped the image with Black Stazon as I wasn't sure how I would color but wanted to cover myself if I decided to water color, but turns out I used markers. I colored with Barely Banana and then a little So Saffron highlights then went back over some of the areas with Barely Banana again to blend the colors. The stems/leaves are done in Certainly Celery and then a little Old Olive for highlights and back over with Certainly Celery to blend colors. Little sherbet button and a strip 1/2" wide with the Easter Blessing and I used the my way punch to cut the end (easy peasy)!
