Man, when it rains it pours... Have to whine a little.... or a lot, hang in there for directions for the candle cake... Okay. So my sister who had an accident getting out the the pool about a month ago and broke her arm VERY BADLY..... she is still in awful pain, out of work and on and on... Well she calls me to tell me that her husband, was in a BAD CAR ACCIDENT and was T-boned! he was air lifted out(several reasons, but mostly because he was knocked out, and they had to cut him out and it took so long, age, so it is like mandatory to do so) okay so he has a broken collar bone and the one in back sorry don't know name of it, 4 broken ribs and basically his left side (which is the same side as sister, but he is left handed). She had to get someone to drive her to Ft. Myers where he was taken, she lives in Port Charlotte, about 1 hr away... But the major thankful part is he had asked her to go with him and she wasn't feeling well so she said she would stay home. Because he was pushed to the center of the truck cab if she had been in there also it would have been lots, lots, lots worse, the ems say he is LUCKY to be alive. So I'm a little behind on the instructions and messing with my printer that has gone on the fritz!!! UGH!!! Alright done for the moment, :)....... Here you go. It's late so if somethings seems off email me and ask... This is a quick one!
So you can see I punched out a scallop circle from plain computer paper as a template/guide then you fold it in half and half again... Cut a snip of the center point so you can use a pencil to mark your top cake piece(pretty in pink piece) then you mark it with a pencil lightly, using a ruler and a knife (exacto) you make a 4 cuts (like marking an x -double) this will give the opening for the candle wick. Don't do it too much. Then you need a scallop from the pennant die and use the 1/2 circle to punch a hole for the on/off button on bottom. DSP is 5 1/4" X 11/16" or just a hair short of 3/4" depends on your candle, they are a little different from different stores. So check before cutting your paper, then you will attach with sticky strip. Attach this top with tombo multi purpose glue. fold over edges around cake can glue down or not your choice. I attachedthe bottom piece with a couple of dimensionals. But first make sure it is centered and the hole is in right place, then attach. Decorate as wanted and you are don't.. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by...
thanks for including the instructions for the adorable candle. LOVE IT. I plan to try making one later
