On the grow

What a cute set! I love it... So I made a card using the mason jar filled with flowers.  I also applied some crystal effects to the jar to make it more like glass. Lots of texture on this card even though with this photo it's hard to tell. I was inspired from another demonstrator from or SU Connections sight, but can't remember the gals name, sorry. So my colors today are Rich Razzleberry, Cert. Celery, Daffodil Delight, Sahara Sand and even some Pear Pizzazz. I also used the blender pen to water color right from the ink pad well.  I feel with such a small area to color it helps with control. The aqua painter works well too.

Fishy snack and matching card

Okay so for anyone who brought a new person I had never met or a new person attending in general got a PRIZE!!!!!  in the past I've found that most people really enjoy the hand stamped items best... and so a little help from a friend (hey Lisa!) who was inspired by me too this is what they got... Then I did a matching card to go with the May card kits... LOL!!! See it just starts with one idea and rolls along till it's on a BIG ROLL!!! Guess that's what it's all about right.. Enjoy.....

Open house cards

Well the open house was fun, met some new ladies and I believe they had fun and are ready for some more fun. I'm working on my schedule for the next little bit and will email soon to those of you who are interested. The open house ended and we cleaned up and Marie (hey girlie!) headed out for a little girl fun and we got caught in the rain!!!! UGH!, but it was fun even it weather got ugly with us. Thank you to the ladies who were able to attend, it was very nice seeing you. Here are the two cards we did that day and yes the fish was the favorite even though they liked the hello blossoms card too.

 
The small pearl on the eye was a hit as well. :)

 
This is Chloe, and it was her first event since she came to live with us and being put outside on the back porch really didn't make her happy so she barked and barked which really upset her sisters....  Not really it hurts their ears so they howl and bark just because she is making a pain of herself! LOL!!! Gotta love the animals, part of the family... Then dad came home and they started as soon as they saw him... :( 

 
Well that's it for the open house items... We did have some give aways for newbies and that was a hit, I'll be back and post that in another posting.

Surfer crazy...

Nope not really just another card to show off the surfboards again and  I think it could be a good guy card with these colors... Okay hate to do it but another quick post as I'm getting ready for Saturdays open house and need to go to bed.

 

Sail Away

Well my orignal card idea didn't seem to work out the way I wanted it to, so I ended up changing a little and made the boat and words both Not Quite Navy, great man card..... Okay so it's late and this is going to be an auto post so more tomorrow....

 

Little Beach Can

Well it's just decorated to look like the beach/ocean  theme. Using the Summer Splash stamp set this little can is created so my colors are pumpkin, celery and bashful blue So it would make a great gift can to put candies or something special. What do you think?

 

Time flies!!!

Well I've been so busy with card kits and getting tready for Saturday that I don't have a photo to share of a card, but instead I have a rehab project also going on here the last few weeks...  I'll be back alter to share a card... Have a great day...

Ready to paint.....  This is another piece I got from Vicki, to redo.... :)  it has a mirror and frame that hold s it but those pieces aren't ready yet...

Gift bag

Here is a quick gift bag using a die cut flower a little DSP and cardstock.  Well it's Monday and I did this as a pre-scheduled post as I wasn't sure how Sunday would go. So I'm hoping things are good for all of you. Have a great week and I'll be back with more tomorrow.

 

All you Mother's....

I'm thinking of you and hoping your enjoying your day. Happy Mother's Day!  Wow, this has been a week. Highlights for the week: Teenagers suck!!! Between the moods, and attitude. He went in pool with his phone in his pocket (didn't remember it till it vibrated in his pocket. (got out took it apart, put in rice, but didn't work) had to replace it, then there was the snake in my front flower bed. The teen who wanted to catch it (not mine) neighbor, but I think I had ever boy in the neighborhood in the front yard as they tried to get it, and even a few girls.  oh boy! never boring around here...

 

 

Well as I was woking on items for the shop, I came across a luggage tage that is designed to hold a photo, but of course I thought it needed a stamped image. So I had some items that I had gotten from my friend Vicki (hey girl) when I last visited her, and I thought it was perfect. So for those moms out there jsut relax and enjoy your day.

 
 it's in the plactic bag it came in so it's a little shiny in the photo, but at least you can see it.. Have a great day.
