Trash to Treasure

So I guess it's Friday, auto post again....  Hope you have a SUPER weekend...  I'm busy house sitting, dog sitting and Fish watching/feeding....  and just chilling doing what I want.

Reusing a salt shaker or pepper shaker. Guess you can call this a 3-d project. I saw and idea to use them as a picture holder then, it came to me what a flower vase?? So I dug through my odd buttons and used an old book, I picked up just to use for paper crafting, got the punch out and decided to make some flowers. I must be honest and say that this was an original idea for a FRIENDS birthday, then it took off like wild fire and now I'm making them to sell in my Etsy store... :) I'm having fun making these... and little ones too...

Another birthday inspiration or two....

Candy Box

This is actually a simple 2, 4, 6, 8 box..... Too fast and easy... Simple... Great for little candies pre-wrapped for co-workers, teachers, neighbors for that little something....

Oh Christmas Tree......

Gotta love it!  here's a quick little gift card holder I did at my winter stamp camp, using an envelope to decorate it up and wrap a little ribbon around it and ready to go. This little beauty can go in an envelope as a wrapped gift or just put in on the tree with someones name on it. sorry lighting isn't the best on this photo, but you can see it better in last photo. Enjoy!

Tip: 13-14 inches of ribbon works great. Also a V-shaped envlope seems to work the best for this style gift card holder.

 

Swap Combo

Back in June, I was in a big swap and we had to make something hand crafted not necessarily paper craft, but it could be sewing or anything you made yourself. So i was really excited to do this because I had never done one like this before. So the girl who set it up had sooooo many people involved she went through elfster to get us all organized and then we were given our person to swap with, then the person we made an item for wasn't the person who sent me something so we actually got to meet two people. So with elfster we got to know a little about the person and what they liked etc.. so this is what I ended up making for my girl. I did a combo thing.

What time is it.....

I've had a few busy days and posting has fallen behind again...UGH!! sorry, I was so busy with husband coming to visit this weekend to get more items to bring back home, I completely for got about my middle sister's birthday.. YIKES!!! Well this clock is a clock my downline and very talented FRIEND made me for a belated birthday and i've just not posted it yet, so forgive me PAT~~ I love it.

front wasn't on straight as I had to tweak it when it arrived because it wasn't working at first from the trip vis post office... but it works just fine now... woop, woop.... Okay hope you enjoyed this one..

Hi everyone, hope your having a good week.. Still on vacation this is an auto post and just wanted to remind you this is it again till I get back... I'm sharing this from the gal in the water mark this is the new die that will be available on April 1st. I've ordered mine but it should arrive while I'm away,. so hopefully I can share some of my ideas when I get back.  jsut a few clever ideas you can make with the petite purse die.. very cute can't wait to use it..

Sorry for the absence again but this this week and last week this have been a total nightmare for me with Joey (my son) and well blogging is LAST on the list.. Okay so anyway I have had a few fun things I've done in between. but that's gonna have to wait till another time like next week. I'm headed out the door as soon as this is done, I will do a few auto post for the next few days then it's gonna be nothing again till after I get back from vacation.It's Spring BREAK here, taking Joey to my sister an headed to see Mike (hubs) then a little bit in the keys!!!! Woop, woop!!!!!  I'm sooooo ready for this BREAK!!!! yes!!! :)

Okay so here is a TREAT for someone... I was out last Saturday with a friend and at the end of the day we were headed back to her house and we passed a store I was like STOP!!! I wanna go there.. LOL!!! I score some cool stuff.. I got two flower frogs, big ones... But I'm only gonna keep one, they go like crazy on ebay... LOL!!!   So I got this one here and with shipping I'm thinking it's gonna be total 20.00 but how can I do it to be far, Give me some of your thoughts, we will work on it when I get back, but need ideas how to handle, because just first email is kinda ugh!!!   So here is a picture of it. I use them to hold cards and photo and display them. I get questiosn all the time were to find them... So now you can get one here... I know I only have one, but hey it's fun.

 

 

Sunny Box....

Happy Sunday!!! Well, I was working on this box I got last week thifting with my friend Betty (hey Betty) Had a busy day yesterday around the house doing things to get some stuff caught up and a little fun too. As I was saying, last Saturday Betty and I went to a few places looking for some bargains and found a few this box for some reason was calling to me.  3.00 dollars later it was mine. I stewed over it for the week something wasn't right about it, it kept reminding me of a vintage tool box. It's no vintage piece but it's still cool, so I looked on-line and noticed most of the vintage pieces were a different shape end, so after a little drawing and changing my mind a few times, I cut the sides to make a different look, and LOVE IT!!! So I've started to paint it but it's still got a bit to go, and I've desided I can put some of my punches in it and it will work great. so here are a few shots and I was going to share a card I got for my birthday (thanks Lisa).
