Hanging with the Ham!

How is everyone, wow it's Thurday already. I always get my days mixed up when we have a holiday on Monday. Makes for a short week I guess. This past weekend when I was stamping and playing with the paper flowers I also made this card. It is another  Hambo Stamp that was in the new releases. Go check them out. Hope you like it.  

 

I used my copics on this card and also airbrushed the sky a little around the pig too.

Flip Flopin Around.......

With a new stamp from Hambo Stamps go check out the new releases. Well anyway, I got this flip flop stamp that I just LOVE!!! I wanted to use only it and see what I could do and how much I could do. So here a few cards I came up with.

 

 

 

 

This card made me want to make a box with this layout to hold them so here it is below.

 

I know it is a little plain, but I had it together before I thought about stamping on the box which at that point would have be way hard...

 

I used Copic markers on these cards. I used BG05, RV23, Y13, YG23 and also a glaze pen for the centers if the flowers. Most of the cards I cut the flip flops out and used dimensionals.

Well, I'm behind in posting so beware! A few weeks ago a  very good friend Marie (Hey Girlfriend) says to me, have you been  to Monica's blog lately? And to which I reply, no... why? She says because they are having a contest (Monica is her sister) with one of Tim's drawing (Monica's husband) they own Hambo Stamps  and Tim draws all the artwork for the stamps. Well with the contest they were letting you download a digital image for FREE! Woohooo, who doesn't like that. And it is the coolest cat ever.... So anyway, I go and download, start coloring with some favorite colors (green, pink) with a layout in mind, but then I realize I do not have any designer paper to match these colors and it's late (cut off day of course) so I print a new one and change colors... So here is my contest card (first below) and so not like me but hey a girl has to try right? Then the next day I hear from Monica and her first thing is wow, you used an orange color (more to match dsp) that wouldn't be my first choice.  I had to laugh and replied to her that it wasn't my first choice either and begin to tell her the little story above. Well then I had more time and came up with my card (second below) which lead to the third card with different colors... The madness never stops does it...   

 

 

Oops, slipped this one in so you can see I used micro beads on the ice cubes and crystal effects on the glass and nose, along with the sunglasses.

 

 

Supplies:

I used Copic markers and also airbrushed clouds with my copics. All cardstock is Stampin' Up!

Bad Blogger.......

I know, I know I have been a bad blogger, so sorry. We have had some very difficult family times around here and things are still not cleared up but we are working on it. So stamping was not on the top of my list. I did stamp this weekend and worked with some new stamps from my very good friends sister's company maybe you've heard of them. Hambo Stamps have some really cute new stamps out and I just love them so I had to have some. I used my Copic markers with them. Go over and check them out.  HAMBO
