Trendy Tree Box

Little late positng today. Oops! Forgot to put it in the auto update. So here I am doing it now.(wink) A few weeks ago when I was working on some box ideas I came up with this one. I put a window in it using the circle scissor plus system. Then a piece of window sheet. The box measures 6 1/8"X 6 1/8" square (finished). It holds full size cards. Hope you enjoy.

More gift items

Wow, it's Friday already. Don't you love those quick weeks after a holiday weekend. I showed you a few of the little gifts yesterday  I made and they are already gone.For the people who ordered the June kit. So I had to make more gifts. Here is what I came up with. I've been purging some of my items that needed to be altered. These little bags are from Vippie. I just added the paper, butterflies and  ribbon. Hope you enjoy. Have a great weekend.

Great Friend Special- from me

Hello Everyone,  Wow, 2 posts today. I just wanted to share a few photos of some of the goodies that they people got who sent their monies to me by tomorrow's deadline for the Great Friend, June card kit. I was shocked how many wanted it. I had these from a previous event and needed to get rid of them so I decided what a great way. I decorated these using the great friend set to keep with the theme. So tell me what do you think?

Hanging with the Ham!

How is everyone, wow it's Thurday already. I always get my days mixed up when we have a holiday on Monday. Makes for a short week I guess. This past weekend when I was stamping and playing with the paper flowers I also made this card. It is another  Hambo Stamp that was in the new releases. Go check them out. Hope you like it.  

 

I used my copics on this card and also airbrushed the sky a little around the pig too.

Flip Flopin Around.......

With a new stamp from Hambo Stamps go check out the new releases. Well anyway, I got this flip flop stamp that I just LOVE!!! I wanted to use only it and see what I could do and how much I could do. So here a few cards I came up with.

 

 

 

 

This card made me want to make a box with this layout to hold them so here it is below.

 

I know it is a little plain, but I had it together before I thought about stamping on the box which at that point would have be way hard...

 

I used Copic markers on these cards. I used BG05, RV23, Y13, YG23 and also a glaze pen for the centers if the flowers. Most of the cards I cut the flip flops out and used dimensionals.

Flower Power

Happy Tuesday! Hope everyone survived the long weekend. We did and I had fun playing this weekend with paper flowers. Or I'm gonna call them "Gerber Daisy Flowers" because that is kinda what they remind me of. Thanks to my friend from Canada Elaine Paget, she share how she made the two layer flowers. So as I was playing I added another layer and I put all mine on RSVP pens so that you can still remove the end to replace the ink refill when it runs out. I also added paper for the stems inside the pen. They are too cute look at a few photos I took.

Just Beachy Set

Happy Memorial Day to all! Well the weekend is almost over. Hope everyone has had fun and staying safe. Still raining on an off here. Well here is a little birthday gift I made for a friend of mine's daughter. Her room is Green Galore and Temp. Turquoise. With those colors in mind here is what I came up with a little box that holds a few cards and envelopes, pen, magnet clip. I'm told she really loved it.

 

I made this box and 4 simple cards using scraps of this DSP. I didn't even have a full sheet of it left over from a previous project. So each thing has some of it but not much LOL!

 

 

I moved the DSP down to the bottom on this card because there was a smug under it. (wink)

 

 

 

This was the Birthday card.

 

This was the gift bag, sorry not a very good photo but sometimes the operator doesn't do well. :)  Hope you enjoy!

Flower's Just for you!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. It's still raining.... And of all things yesterday bad storm here with lighting, well we will not know for sure till we tow my husband's truck to the shop on Tuesday but we think it was struck by lighting. UGH!!!!!! He has worked on it since last night without much luck. I think the poor guy is almost ready to cry. It's his baby you know. He doesn't get upset about much but man....He is a hurting puppy (sad)... You know?!  Anyway, my flowers for today. This little pot design was shared with me from my friend Lisa Curcio, but she doesn't have a blog to link, sorry. The one she showed me she haddie cut flowers in it. Well she just gave me a sheet that had some drawings and measurements and well I never did get it after Iwas home and tried to make it myself. So I was over at my friend Alice's house a few weeks back and she had one (because she is Lisa's downline). Well, we made one together minus the flowers so I knew how it went together and all. Sometimes it's hard to make when you do not have a visual of a 3-d item. So here is the one I took a photo of at Alice's house. Then my version. I used the stamp set Doodle this. Hope you enjoy.

 

May Card Class

Happy Saturday to everyone. This is gonna be a short and sweet post today as I am running way behind.  I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Today I'm off helping a downline with a workshop so I'll be busy most of the day. I just wanted to share some cards from this month's card class. Hope you enjoy them. Some of these are my own designs some are tweaked from soemthing that I saw somewhere and  the Kola Bear card is copied from someone, but I truly can't tell you who, I'm sorry. This card, not sure if you can see it well enough but I stamped the seahorse in Baja Breeze then I sponged Pacific Point around the edges , it's a lot like rock n roll technique, but I used a sponge.

 

Great Friends Special

TGIF!!!  Well here is my June special with a little twist of surprise. I usually do a card kit every other month. This one for June is the set Great Friend which is in the Mini Occasions catalog on page 6.  I've done 4 designs (3 of each for a total of 12) with envelopes, instructions and the stamp set. Cost is $28.00 which includes shipping to you. The twist is anyone who gets there money to me by May 29th. gets a little gift from me (the surprise). I've used most of the current in-colors because they will be on thelast chance list as of June 1st. Stampin' Up! always gives us new in-colors(once a year) so they will be going away...
