Congratulations Card

This card is a 5 12 X 5 1/2 square. With some sweet pea DSP and well scripted words page 19 of he mini occasions catalog. I also used the Beautiful Wings Butterfly embosslits die for this card, Way cool and easy-peasy. Sorry the posting is later today, forgot the auto poster. Enjoy your weekend. Kangaroo Hearts

Well look at this cutie pie! Can you believe the things you can make with a few ovals, and circles add a couple word window punches, flowers too and this is what you get. Too cute. Just another card you could make for your special Valentine. Let me know what you think.

January Techniques

Well, I had a Happy birthday and presents and cake to but no pictures of new stuff that arrived today, I'll get a few photos tomorrow and post and let you see some of the goodies. Thanks you all of you who sent cards and well wishes and all the messages for a Happy Birthday on Facebook too. Really enjoyed it today. Okay now for the posting today. I have 2 cards that we did with the techniques this month first was Faux stitching and second was paper piecing. 2 cute little cards. I believe everyone enjoyed them as well.

 

This is the technique on the top note that goes on the ring to keep them all together I'll show a photo of the front at the end.

Here is the technique used on a card. The black you see at the bottom is a narrow strip on the inside of card, makes the scallop edge show better.

Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to ME!!!!!!!!!

Well, you get the picture right, It's my BIRTHDAY today all day...... Wowser! Can you believe it 45, as my little nephew Jakie Doodle (that's what we all call him, he's coming to visit me on Saturday) He says "Holy COW Moly"! Silly little guy.... Well he is like Joey and hyper, he's ready to come visit is cousin JOE! He tells his Grammie, we need to go see JOE. She's like who? You know Grammie, joe!  Took her awhile to figure it out he was meaning Joey, that's what we... Kids are soooo funny aren't they. He also comes to see his Uncle Mike who has a cool truck collection (which Jakes watches very carefully while he is here) that Jake really wants, but he has another thing coming...  (That's what Mike says!) He tells us his mommy said he can have them when he gets older... LOL!!!  Okay, well back on subject, my birthday. So here are a few cards to CELEBRATE ME!!!! I made the first one, yep you know dragonflies.... Yes, another one. And the other to follow below that I've gotten this week.  I got a package on Monday and oh man, it was like Christmas, New years and My birthday all in one box...... Thanks so much to you all for sending well wishes... Love you all!

Hearts for Haiti, close ups.

Hello, I decided there are 3 cards that needed to be shown a little better or a  closer few than the group shot showed you so here you go. I really hope you will join in the disaster relief and possibly win these 6 cards. I'm so excited to have a winner.... (giggle) I might have to have some blog candy soon if treat goes well. Hearts for Haiti

Couple of cute boxes/card holders

Well I guess they could hold a gift as well but bit not to thick of a gift, but this adorable box is great to hold about 8 or so cards.... Sadly it doesn't fit eh envelopes to well. I made these two boxes from one sheet of 12X12 paper with that said you can see there isn't a lot of room after folding and putting together basically a 6X12 sheet of cardstock and a top note to close the box. But they are great boxes. Let me know what you think.

Inspired by Becky!

These two cards I got my inspiration from another demonstrator who did a swap at convention and she made a little book with tags in it and I took the tags one step farther and made cards. They are the cutest cards. I used the new Felt flowers (also the tiny tags set pg 28 and  coordinating punch)  from the mini occasions catalog page 32 for the first card and the second is just the wide oval punch with the large and small oval punches for the handle with a little embellishments and you have it.

 

Who's your Valentine?

Hello! This isn't the best picture but you get the idea. Cute little critter from the stamp set LOVE bandits page 16 of the mini occasions catalog. This little guy or gal is the cutest little thing. I just made a quick little card with a little strip of designer paper and a few punches a little background and here you have a quick fast card. Enjoy!
