Guest Artist Day 2.....

Happy Saturday to you all. I'm so happy to share these cards today. I hope you are as inspired as I was to create some awesome cards.... Pat used the new 2-step bird punch and the very cool beautiful wings Butterfly embosslits die (found on page 24 mini occasions).

Not sure what patterned paper that is I'll ahve to ask her.

Guest Artist.....

OMG!!!!!!!!! She does fantastic work.... It's Pat Richardson, my dear friend and downline. she and I do a monthly swap and I tell you it's like Christmas every month when I get her stuff and I LOVE to share her work when possible (wink)!. I'm busy working on stuff for my retreat so I can't share any of that right now so today and tomorrow you will get a treat to see what I got in the mail yesterday.  So here are two Punch pages she sent to me. She tells me the clown gets easier with everyone you make and it is sooooo worth it in the end. (her words)

This is the clown on a 6 X 6 piece of cardstock she sent me to put in my punch book.

This is the crow instructions she sent to me also on a 6 X 6 sheet of cardstock to add to my punch book... Wooohooo for me... :)  I LOVE IT..............

 
Isn't this the coolest!!!!   She is the punch queen (as I call her). Too sweet.... I'm hanging this one on my wall to keep in my office.... (thanks Pat, wink!).. Wait till you see that other cards tomorrow. So check back.

  
 

Box with matching note cards

This is a box (back left side) and matching note cards to go in the box. Very cute and simple, but I really liked it.  I'll share more about this box a little later. Have a great day. I'm posting this before I go to bed and I'm beat. Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy!

February Techniques

Easter cards

Here are some simple and cute Easter card made using the Eggcoutrements (mini occasions catalog page 22) and I also used the Shades of Spring designer paper.

Inks: Pretty in Pink, Orchid Opulence, Certainly Celery, Basic Black 

Cardstock: Pretty in Pink, Orchid Opulence, Certainly Celery, Whisper White as base for all cards

Stamps: Eggcountrements, Teeny Tiny Wishes (Happy Easter)

Punches: 1" circle. 1 1/4" Circle, 1 3/8" circle, Scallop Circle, Designer Label

Accessories: Stamp-a-ma-jig, silver brads,dimensionals

Anyone who purchases from me the stamp set and designer paper I'll share all card measurements and close up photos for you.

Chocolate Box

I decided to create a box for chocolates after a friend asked me about a box that was designed around matchbox die (drawer centers) I do not have that die, I usually borrow it, but instead decided to make a box.  So this is what I came up with. i think i would add another 1/4" to the next one I make.... But this still works well...

 

This makes a great gift for that chocolate lover in your life (wink) or even for a months day gift.

   

Paper Embellishments

Well a little later posting today because i decided to give you a tutorial treat today. Stampin' Up! sends to the demonstrators each month a magazine that's called the Stampin' Success (can only get if you are a demonstrator). Another great reason to sign up with the kit at a discount too.  Okay anyway with this magazine this month the showed some great paper embellishments and some were flowers this one is made with circle punches. Very easy. I guess I'll get on with it now. (wink)  

 
This is what you start with 1- 1" circle, 3- 1 3/8" circle, 1- 1 3/4" circle, two bird wings in green (leaves) from the Extra Large Two-step bird punch you will also need a matching marker to draw the lines in on the leaves 

 
 As you can see from this photo I have snipped all the way around each circle and curled up the edges a little. Also have drawn the lines on the leaves. I'm now ready to put together.

 
I just put them all together and then pierced the center with the paper piecer then add the brad. I used a fire circle brad. 

 
The brad holds it all together, I attached the leaves to the flower with mini glue dot. Attach the flower to the card with a pop glue dot.  

 
So what do you think...... 

Crows???

Well I was playing with the sweetheart stamp set the other day and I kept seeing the little bird as a crow.  So I made a couple of quick fast easy cards with the little bird and the scallop punch and a few other little things. I was kind of thinking old crow for the birthday card? the other card was a quick thinking of you card. I've got a few more birds still to play with, check back in a few days we'll see what I come up with.  I can't believe it is Thursday already where has the week gone?? I'm busy working on March's techniques and March cards for stamp n stack class. Wow, how fast the month of February is going too.  Well enjoy your day.
