Well it's been a little bit, sorry but been busy... Things to do, places to go never enough time... :) Anyway, some of you know some of you don't but I finally earned an awesome bonus from SU! yep!So I decided it was time we (Mike, Joey and I) did something as a family for FUN. It's been tooo long and never enough money... I'm sure some of you can relate, so off to Bush Gardens we go last Friday... After I might add my hubby had an emergency with work the night before and didn't get home till 3 a.m. I had only gone to bed minutes before he got home, so I woke first decided to let him sleep as the kid will sleep forever if you let him :). So I get up pay some bills, run some errands, and get a call where are you??? I say running errands getting gas, why aren't you sleeping... Well it seems the dogs had other plans when mom went off and left them with everyone sleeping.. Not happening!!!! I tried! So I get home and say are you sure you want to still go? Mike says yeah I got a good 5 hours sleep... so off we go, and a neighbor kid... Got to love that Joey is old enough to go off on their own as we didn't want to do repeat rides over and over all day. We checked in with them and it was funny one time we actually ran into them, Joey says " I gotta sit, I think I might be sick"! Kids..... Well he didn't but it wasn't long after that we got a call where are you we are ready to go home... LOL!!! Never thought I'd hear that one... they were ready to go before us... :) They have a deal right now, we bought tickets and you can go back the rest of the year.. woohooo... so maybe next time I might take some pictures... We kinda chilled the rest of the weekend...
Last month when I went to visit back down south I had a great time but also came home with a car full of stuff along with hubby getting to come down with a trailer and and few items went there too... Vicki my friend (moved, hey girlie!) and she needed to down size a little, so she was given me stuff... and like I said one thing I got was this chair, it had tons of coats of paint on it. Perfect project for Mr. Ray (neighbor who is more family than he knows) he likes to do stuff in his shop out back... Well, he stripped it and I finished it, but we both forgot before photos... UGH!!! here is the photo of the chair before I white washed it... and after with it on my porch... Some of what else I've been doing, the flower thing.. and YOU who know me know I have NO green thumb, so be nice... But I wanted some color....
Ray added the little buttons to the chair to cover over all the rivet holes, they had been covered with paint before and were like big holes... :) So it worked good as I knew I wanted to use on the porch to hold my flower pot...
Mr. Ray and I made this little green bench a few weeks ago for my flowers to hang out on and under, but I found that if i line them up on the other side on the bricks, it keeps the boys (Joey and neighborhood kids) from walking on my bricks as they cross back and forth in the yard to the door... boys will be boys!!!! Glad I only have one...
Okay so no card right now I'll do another posting with a card in a little bit... Have a great week, thanks for stopping by...
