Well, it's been awhile but we've had lots happening here at the George house this spring/summer. Just let me tell you I think this is the wild kingdom around here. We've had two sets of cardinals have nests in the hedges outside the pool, a litter of baby bunnies under the shed and snakes like crazy in the front hedges, enough to make a person (me crazy) with 3 dogs to watch while outside at all times... and one of those little ones wanting to chase and patrol for squirrels who might come close to her SPACE!!! yikes... and the first set of birds babies decided it was time to learn to fly the day we had company who brought there two dogs, so we had 5 dogs at once in the back yard along with kids in the pool and me trying to save baby birds from doggies wanting to see what the heck is going on...

Sadly, I saved this little one three times because the next was so small, he kept falling out... but then the last time I checked he or she was gone, but I guess that's nature. Sad but true...
