So this post is a combo about our group of Stampin' Up! Current and some past girls. We ALL share the love of stamping and crafting, which is how we all met in the beginning. However we have maintained out friendships over lots of miles and lots of years! For me it's been about 16-17 years I've know them, our kids were all little things then. We have watched our kids grow up,  some even married now. Time really does fly while having fun, the best part is right now and for a few years we all are in Florida~ Close together, well some separated for over and hour drive, but we make it work. We meet once a month and spend the day together crafting or whatever and sometimes just talking more than anything. But on each of our birthday months we TRY VERY HARD, to work it out but sometimes it doesn't always work for everyone's schedule, but we do celebrate...

This month was me. We all have a hard time trying to figure out what to get, so this time I tried to make it easier and gave them a list to choose for Stamping supplies~ Yeah, always a good one, then we usually go out for dinner, sometimes cook and eat in. But we went to the International Mall for Cheesecake factory then a little retail therapy~  It was GREAT day, even though a few couldn't make it the 3 (including me) who were there made it a BLAST! Thanks girlies! 

So here are some treats I made for the girls, and then I'm sharing cards and packaging and some gifts, but mostly it was SU! items so those I didn't show. that got reversed, oops in photos. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

First thing you might notice is the same photo with 2 watermarks, well that's because some are SU! and some are not, but I want to put something on them before posting. 

Tops Left:Audrey Staggs   Manatee card, there will be two more cards coming, it's a spinner card and the words change in the window!  Love it! I love manatees too. 

Top Right: Molly Walsh, birthday cupcake theme, Love it you can't tell from the phot, but card things are popped. So cute. Cupcakes who can resist, not me! 

Bottom Left: Yolanda Dunmore (Yolie's Ink Spot), she made me a Dragonfly card, cause she knows how much I LOVE them, and she knows I'm a green girl~ 

Bottom Right: Brandi Diaz (Brandis Stamp Bus) I think that's here name?  Need to verify that. She did a Cupcake as well, and I love this set, its a SAB this year and sooo cute!

Anyone who knows Molly, knows she says it like it is, just like me....

I think this is FANTASTIC! It will go in my office so I can see it daily and get that reminder when it's needed... THANK YOU MOLLY!!! And my little cupcake is the most adorable thing... It will find a home in my office too. 

 

 

 

So that it for this Friday, it's actually my birthday weekend now. So I hope to enjoy it and have a little FUN!  hope you have a wonderful Friday and a safe weekend. Bird is the word today!

Funky little birds for a Valentine card, I think it works. As I said before, when I got this months PP I did two of the little pouches and then I was busy creating cards, I made a total of 5 that day and to be honest I could make tons more the ideas just flowed through with these little critters. I used more of the on pouch I cut up and used several times, as you see through out the cards I've been posting this week. I used the sprig punch for the branch. And the starburst punch. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cute simple card. Well it's Thursday and tomorrow I have some Valentine treats for some friends, did same little box and some cards. I will also share with you my birthday cards I got from them. And a Cute Fun sign. See you tomorrow. 

 

 

Bold Bright Chameleon Card, anyone????

Those  who know me well, know my heart is a BOLD BRIGHT, ALWAYS!!!!  So this card talks to me like that and of course the Checked Background another of my FAVORITES, I use it A LOT~~~  I first tried it with no Melon Mambo on the bottom, but it was too much, I know Gasp! But it's true.  So then With that added I felt it needed texture, so I used the subtle texture and that did it! I love it lots.. The Little Chameleon is so cute, I like both.

Kangaroo Card

This is my favorite card I created the other day with the PP kit. It is also the last card I created that day, I've got more to share but couldn't wait to share this one. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE  IT!

It's pretty simple but I think that's the best part about it,  stamped the hearts in Crumb cake stamped off once, the stripped DSP, a little ribbon and the kit items and VOLIA! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I included one photo with the pouch to share it as well. These are too cute to because they are double sided/Reversible! How cool it that?? I'm telling you, I haven't been more excited about a PP then this one for January 2019, I swear it is the BEST ONE YET!!! I sure hope they are all this great! 

I decided to add the other photo to show you the two sides of the box. It's just amazing the versatility this month.....

One in a Chameleon.....

So like I said on Fridays post, I've created a few cards using the PP kit this month, besides treats you can make cards and stuff with the kits... This card I used another portion of one of the boxes I cut apart. You will see a strip on the card from Friday. Todays card has a heart made with the same box, I got a lot of use out of the one box. Sadly I only have one photo of this card, as I was editing they were too blurry and at this hour no photos would turn out well. Lighting.  Hope you enjoy this card, I Love this little chameleons. and in the kit we got a stamp of a single one. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Everything is from the kit, except the one half sheet of Granny Apple Green and envelope. However I think it's too cute! Hope you like it and see you tomorrow with more. Have a great day! 

Masculine? Maybe!

Okay so I said I'd be back today with a Masculine card hopefully.  Well the January Paper Pumpkin box arrived and OOOMMMGGGG!!!! I think this is my all time favorite box! Really, so the first thing I did, was make two treat boxes, then was in card making mode. Oh Yeah Baby!!!! 

This card was made using the new Happiness Blooms Memories and More cards and envelopes.  Page 26 in the Occasions caddy. So in this PP box it goes with the Animal set out of the main catalog, with a few added Critters!! OH YEAH!!!

So I have several card shots here so you can see all the detail, sorry for the poor lighting but I did photos at night, not best lighting. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I tried to give it an angle so you can see the stamped words on bottom half of the card.  All the elements came from the PP Box, except the card base and the Spring twig punch. Yes, die cuts of the Kangaroo, way to cute... 

I'm gonna add two more photos so you can hopefully see it better. Like I said not sure you would call it Masculine, but I'd feel fine for a man, Husband, or Boyfriend to get this card, how about you?  Thoughts, let me know. Leave me a comment. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Can you see the love you now. The mambo strip is actually part of a treat box I cut. I used it a few times to get the most out of cutting the box up. Not a shaker

Hello! 

Well here was a card that didn't come out like I saw it in my mind. And more I think it didn't work the way I had visioned with the Framelits more than anything. But I was talking with a friend and she said a few changes and it would make a GREAT SHAKER CARD! However I didn't remake it. It is what it is, as they say. It's still a cute card.  So today is short and sweet. I am working on Masculine cards for tomorrow.  oh so when I stamped the small heart inside while it's still wet/ take a blender pen and spread the ink to color in the hearts, be fast about it before it dries. Can't do this for large area. Only small stuff.

Balmy Blue anyone?

So remember I was trying to think outside the box , so to speak. And I made this one Blue, not sure if it's great or not but it's different, maybe pass for a guy card??? I will let you be the judge of that. It's from same set Meant to be, and same as yesterday. I just didn't like it enough to make it to my card kit this month or maybe to much prep work for one card. Sea Foam....

So, I have mixed feeling with this card. I Love Sea Foam Green, however I wasn't sure if I like the black very well. It seems to be the best color when I was making the card. But not sure. 

Anyways, this card I used the NEW Rectangle Stitched Framelits  page 28 148551  I'm loving these.  Must have! I stamped the heart in Mementos Black them colored in the bigger flower with Sea Foam. On the front of the card base I did the stamp to paper with the Sea Foam and the stamp, just a little random pattern to make a background for accent.

Valentine just for you
