Boy or Girl Cake card???

Which do you prefer..... Boy card or girl card. These I made a few weeks ago and was on a role with texture so the boy/man card is lots of texture. Girl/woman card not so much. 

So the Blue and Orange card, has the plank embossing folder and the sublets folder used. I also used the rectangle dies.  I used blends to color the cake and the border on the image it is popped up on the white layer and the whole thing is popped up as well.  added some gems and ribbon and bam, done! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Girl Cake has bold colors, Granny Apple Green and Melon Mambo. So I randomly stamped the words " The best thing about today is you." but kept it all towards the bottom half.  I gave it a little strip of Granny Apple with the Happy Birthday stamped in Melon Mambo. Again colored the cake image with the blends (LOVE THEM) and popped that up and added a few glitter enamel dots and  done..

Love it Chop it Sympathy

Just stamp the sentiment and punch our with the Pretty Label Punch add some Magnolia Linen Thread and butterfly punch and a few pearls and you've got a quick card...

Get Well Floral Essence

Happy Wednesday, here is one more card using the Floral Essence set. Simple and quick. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This card I used Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight and I stamped the stems with Granny Apple Green then colored in the leaves with the blends same color. 

Circle Tab Punch in Daffodil and added a Clear Faceted Gem.  Very Simple card, Ink to paper.....

This card was made with the Floral Essence stamp set along with the Perennial Essence Designer paper (DSP) . Quick little sympathy card  a little DSP some layers and ribbon. I also did the envelope to match with DSP on the flap. 

 

 

Hope everyone had a great weekend and ready for a short work week. The ribbon is retiring in a few days, that's shimmer pool party. LOVE IT! 

 

 

 

 

Memorial Day for you..... HOORAY!

Just for you, never forgotten.

Hope everyone is good and having a safe long weekend. I wanted to share this card with you today just for a good look at a little Red, White and Blue..... This is a new hostess set; Time for Tags, I've share a few I think so far, but I  have lots on this set too. I tried to give you a close up so you can see, but it's still hard to see, I added Red Rhinestones, Red Ribbon, Wink of Stella and the star as clear Fine tip glue so it's shiny. The strips are Night of  Navy and Real Red blends. I punched out the Hooray for you Balloon with the coordinating punch called Timeless Label.

Mango & Bermuda Combo

Wow, Love this combo, who would have thought... So here you will see the AMAZING Floral Essence set again, it's a BOMB set and I LOVE IT!!!!! It will be my card Kit next month, if your interested let me know. This card isn't included. I've got the PDF completed on this kit for June, can't wait. It's GREAT. 

Like the Free as a Bird set this one has been talking to me too and I've got lots and lots of ideas. I will be sharing here on my blog the next few weeks cards from this set, however the ones I choose for the card kit will not be shown on here, that is a perk of the kit. You get it exclusively...

Okay a few things;

I stamped the flowers with Pumpkin Pie on Mango cardstock, and stamped the centers the same, but I added fine tip glue heavy and then put dazzling Diamonds glitter on the centers, and I added to the flower with Dimensions to pop the center up. 

The buffalo check is stamp Mango on Mango.

Perennial Essence Designs

Boy that is a mouth full on that title. Ha!  Well I wanted to share something new with you.  So I showing you new DSP that is AMAZING! and Featuring the new Floral Essence stamp 1149450 set on page 108 in the new catalog. 

First I chose a piece of designer paper I thought was an Eye popping color to pair with Flirty Flamingo and Crushed Curry, who'd of though it, but they are just WOW!  Here some photos then details after them

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Card: 

5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score and fold at 4 11/4" 

WW square 2 1/2" X 2 1/2"

Curry Layer 2 3/4" x 2 3/4"

Curry strip 1/2" x 5 1/2" 

DSP strip 1" x 5 1/2"

Vellum Cardstock 101856 (Scrap to stamp the flower and 3 leaves to heat and cut out by hand).

Ribbon 16"

Emboss words on card base  front. Emboss flowers and leaves and color from back side using Stampin Blends. Cut out being careful to not cut into the embossed powder. 

I attached with glue dots, one in center under the Floral center so you can't see it.  and on tips of leaves under the flower.

That layered piece that it's on, has dimensionals under it. to pop it up. 

I also Stamped the envelope front with the large flower in Flirty Flamingo and did the center in Crushed Curry, the flap is done with snail and a piece of DSP 2 1/2" X 6" then line it up and attach to flap with the snail, trim excess around the edge.

 

Box:

Base; Flirty Flamingo 8"X 8"

Score at 2 1/2" on all sides

Top; DSP match in the rest of the items.  6" X 6" 

Score at 1 1/2" on all sides

 

If you noticed, I also layered the inside, not real photo of it, but you can zoom in on second photo to see some. 

Crushed Curry Layer; 5 1/4" X 4" 

Whisper White Layer; 3 3/4" X 5" 

DSP strip is 1/2" X 5"

Butterfly Check

So those who know me well, know my favorite stamp is Buffalo Check. I use it lots...… And lots..... and lots... LOL, you get the meaning... This card I created prior as I said before them the bundle was on back order, it's now available. 

It's pretty straight forward. I used Gorgeous Grape ink on Highland heather for the base then same color on color for Butterflies, except I used the fine tip glue pen to make some accents on the dots of the butterfly and wow does it make it pop, a few flowers gems, ribbon, and birthday greeting and there you go!   Enjoy Wednesday card and I will be back to give you another something new Thursday. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Monday & Tuesday combined....

Hello! 

Well lets just say I had a rough weekend, that has kind of went a bit farther than normal and it stinks, but I will get it posted sooner or later.. I was going to set Monday post Sunday evening, however the pain level was to much and Monday wasn't much better, Tuesday I've kind of  just rested.  So better late than never right...

As  you can see this is a new stamp set, it's a hostess set that I was loving to create with. Lots of samples with this one.

Piece of Cake Card

Well here is another little piece of that DSP that is retiring and I LOVE these colors together. 

When I went to onstage back in Orlando this stamp set and coordinating punch were the thing to have and I came home so excited and I planned classes using this set and the Butterfly Gala Stamp set and punch, but before the time came to do the classes the  they were both on Back Order!! They are available now, but now I'm busy with new stuff again, but wanted to share this card as it has some of the DSP I featured in my special yesterday... 

This is Pineapple Punch and Lovely Lipstick and I use the blends to color. Love it!

Measurements and Helpful  Notes:

Base card 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" score and fold at 4 1/4" 

DSP strip 1 1/2" X 5 1/2" 

Whisper White 2 1/4" X 3 1/2"  Layer of Lovely Lipstick 2 1/2" x 3 3/4" 

Cake was stamped on White and colored with the blends, Cale plate was stamped with Lovely Lipstick on same Lovely Lipstick cardstock and punched out.

Make a ribbon bow and attach it with a glue dot.
