Nothing goes as planned on your to do list. Or it gets changed up. That was today.
First I wasn't expecting the Inspector. Never on Mondays it's always a rough one after the weekend of working on the office for last few weeks.
To explain a little about what's going on, last weekend we finished installing the floating shelves my husband built, (the weekend before we did the wood accent wall)
The office was still intact and workable when we did the wall, however my husband decided last week on Friday night when he arrived home from his week of traveling with work that he only wanted to unload my office 1 time. After doing this, I'm thankful he decided that. But it meant we spent all day Saturday traveling around to Ikea, Home Depot, Brass Pro Shop (hubby needed to go since we were so close) he had still some gift cards to spend.
We also did lunch out while we were doing the running. That Left Sunday to unload my office, but since it was last minute, I had work to complete before moving it all over the house. REALLY it all over the place.
But after it was empty we did the floating shelves and started to pull up the laminate flooring, but before we got into it to far, I noticed the corner looked weird, well come to find out we had a water leak, but from where???? No clue and as we pulled the laminate I could smell MOLD terrible... I can't hear but I can smell. YUCK!!!
So This was now late Sunday night Mike would be gone for the week.
I found the next day or maybe Tuesday leaking in the garage. Turns out it was the copper pipes in the wall from hot water heater, had a tiny whole and it was escaping there. So Home Owners Inspector came and looked he thought it was hose/faucet on outside wall.
So repairs are made but wall needs to be closed up and trim and painting done, then tile can be done... I have someone coming tomorrow to see if they will do the drywall and trim.
Monday I ended up attacking my closet for two reasons, one to purge and organize and the other reason is when the repairs were made the hubs made a big mess and his shop vac (because of his engineering) had a bit of a mishap and he claims it was like and atomic bomb of dust went off in my office, so EVERYTHING IN MY OFFICE WAS COATED WITH A THICK LAYER OF DRYWALL dust. UGH!!!
It's a bit depressing in my office.
Floating shelves and partial repairs, just need to close wall up.
You might not be able to see a difference but I was already started when I remembered to take a photos Oops but left side is beginning and right side is almost done, I have gone through every box, totes and all items in the closet and wiped everything down. What a task, all day.
I need some company and some cheer while I was in there, had to get it done as soon as well and trim is done, tile does in. No other time to do it.
That's it for today, sorry no stamping but I keep repeating the mantra, It will be so awesome after it's all done... Just keep working your making progress. There you have it.

Well today did not go as planned. Started with another inspector to see if we still had a leak and if walls and stuff were wet! that was good, but she found lifting shingles in the valley of the roof that has to be the cause of the porch leak, however it looks dry at moment.
So the photos were late and no stamping today either as I was busy I will show you that Tuesday.

The envelopes are vertical too. Nice kit, I LOVED the SEQUINS are like fluorescent Pink.. Very pretty.

Hi! Welcome to Friday!!! it's been a week from he__ here. the little mess in my office was the tip of the iceberg! I don't know all details yet as I post this but, I did find more issues today as I was looking in garage on back side of my office wall the issue is worse there, looks like water, but from where not sure. Will keep you posted. I'm so bummed as today the office was supposed to be ready to load back and do my thing in there this weekend. UGH!!! insert (very sad face here). But as my girl friends keep reminding me, it will be awesome when it's done. They can't wait to come stamp with me. Yes, I will share more photos when it's all done.
Okay so now on to today's card, it is simple stamping but I think it's a great card and Kindness is always ins style, in more ways than one. I choose kindness when ever possible till I have not more patients then sometime my kindness turns to not like very much~!

Hello, I have a double whammy here today, a card and a little tiny treat box that holds a Hersey kiss.
Here is both, but I will break it down and then at end give you both with a few different shots.
Its rather hard to see in this photo but the lipstick color cardstock is textured using the Subtle folder then, I flicked some Wink of Stella on it to add a wow. I also used the wink on the bottle but again a little hard to see in this photo, I used blends on bottle and lipstick but flowers I used the image in set with the stamp pad.
The words were stamped in black them I cleaned stamp and masked off lipstick and stamped it in Love Lipstick then I cut them all out to glue to the card front.
Okay now the little bitty box
I should have used white cardstock for the pattern but I just used the leftover Lipstick to make another box to show you... I know it's hard to see and on a piece of cardstock the wink looks weird, but I covered the box in wink to for a little shimmer shine look. the bottle on the front also had some wink on it.
the base cardstock size is 5 1/2"x 3 1/4"score all side at 1" then turn side ways and score at 2 1/4" and 3 1/4"
then you can trim and cut like the photo shows you the end that has the tab with sides to close the box sealed those two side piece you need to put score tape on to seal box good. the middle flaps only some snail is need to put middle and end tabs together the other tabs with score tape hold it all together. after your kiss is in if the top pops up a little you can use a small amount of snail to hold closed better but not needed..
then attach the bottle to front of box using snail...

Hello there, hope your doing good today. I have a cut little card that is fun and you could give to a friend, sister or mom! Tale a look and let see what I did.
I know it just looks like a circle now, but just hold on... it's coming up..
so cute, right?! well I think it's adorable card... the compact as you can see with the third photo here it is a circle, but the just the tip is not cut to make the fold/hinge part.
2 1/4" circle punch is what I used, but you can use dies as well just make sure a little bit of die is off edge of folded cardstock first.
the inside mirror makeup powder are 2" circles

Makeup is petal pink then I sponged some and added texture/depth that way...
Crinkled Seam binding ribbon 151326 little bow.
The makeup sticks/lipsticks are from the DSP I just cut those out by hand.

Hey everyone, well got to say I made extras things with this Dressed to Impress stamp set it was my featured stamp set and all the extra will be show in the PDF/Tutorial let me know..
I actually cut out to shoes in this card and adhered to the circle, but in past I masked the front shoe and stamped the second one behind. But not this card. That's a 2 inch circle punch with the starburst punch behind.
I used the Best dress DSP as well I love this one side is the Makeup stuff and one side is the flowers or solid. Very pretty and versatile.
Such a fun card. The Purple Posy and Petal Pink go well together and I added a little wink to the heel..
Add some Faced Dots and there you go.
Well I hope you have a happy Tuesday and we ran into and unexpected mess in my office after removing the laminate from the floor~ Ugh! Always something. So the tile install will not be starting today.
