So sorry, I thought I had Monday and Tuesday preset, look here I didn't!!! Crap on a cracker, So sorry.....
So we will do a double dip here and give you 2 days in one post.
First card was an inspiration card from my friend Lisa she use this layout on a different card and a technique. Me, I just did ink to paper an used her lay out for a cute fun GET WELL CARD. I'm not sure why but I only have one photo of this card.
Colors and Bermuda Bay and Pool Party for layer. Stamp set is Tasteful Touches, new starting Wednesday!! it's also my card kit for this month, this is NOT one of the cards for kit..
Base card: 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
Layer: Pool Party 4"x 5 1/4"
Layer to stamp: 3 3/4" x 5" This is the piece you will cut to piece together on the pool party layer. first cute long ways top to bottom at 1 1/2"
Then first piece cut at 1 3/4" this leaves you with 2 pieces 1 1/2" x 1 3/4" and 1 1/2" x 3 1/2" this is left side of front on card.
Second piece you will cut it at 1 3/4" leaving you 2 pieces, sizes 1 3/4" x 2 1/4" , 2 1/4" x 3 1/4"
Verbiage pieces: This piece (s) are on dimensionals
Whisper White 2" x 2"
Pool Party Layer 2 1/8" x 2 1/8"
Bermuda Bay Layer 2 1/4" x 2 1/4"
Next card is same stamp set different stamp. I used the feather stamp and tried a different thing since we didn't have the in-colors but then got a spot in the PP this month with Midnight I decided to stamp it in Versa Mark first then the Midnight and emboss with clear powder. Not sure why but it looks almost like dark brown or even blackish..
But you can see here what I did..
Sorry second photo is so dark, bad lighting.
DSP is 1" x 5 1/2", Midnight piece is 2" x 5 1/2" and I also used the same stamp set for words of sending you healing hugs Healing Hugs 148223
I also stamped feathers on midnight with versa mark for a little lighter look.
Matching ribbon and your done. The feathers were cut out by hand. Fussy Cutting.
Alright that brings you up to Speed so to speak or up to day with posting. Hope you enjoy them.
Tomorrow I'm sharing one more card from same set featured this month, but not one of the cards in kit.
