Yellow Prickly Pears?

2/26/2021 Friday! Whew made it threw this week. It was a bit of a struggle.. 

This card today is a fun card. I used the dies to cut out the DSP cactus and then I used the dies to make one too. then punches to add a few flowers and I wanted to do colors not in the flowering cactus kit. So I went with Yellow! and it's AWESOME!!!! 

I did a cactus card a while back it was a tag and it's been a very popular card, this one might too. 

Once again, I used the pit from the basket of blooms, I think, I went crazy with it on the cactus cards...  I have a few more ideas still with this set thinking outside the box. I might get to it soon.

Purple Cactus

So I'm back to the cactus cards today and this one is a fun one.  I'm working on the PDF for all of these is anyone is interested. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is a fun card, I used the DSP to cut the cactus and flower out and the same pot I used before the basket of blooms set and the base cardstock is Mint Macaron.

Added some pearls and linen thread and it's done..  oh well I forgot the strip of xxxxx's that is a die and I did that on the top of the front. As you can see it's layered same color on color.

These cards are for my nieces and they are in their teens and just wanted to make a few fun cards for them to put in there package that is going out Friday... One loves Mint Green and has her hair green other sister LOVES BLUE, no her hair isn't blue, but I thought I'd have some fun.. Spring Party 2021

Hello! Hope you had a great weekend. I was busy Saturday being creative, can't share all my fun stuff now, but here is a card I made as a bonus for my kit. What does that mean? This two photos you can see how I worked the lighting..  one on left is brighter, but it is the same on right just the colors look muted. Lot's of colors in this one, mostly the same colors as the DSP, except the bunny is light Soft Suede Blend/ adn the light pink flowers are a combo of Light Petal Pink and Light Flirty Flamingo!!

Today, I have another cactus card to share and this one is all stamped, was pretty quick card all around...

Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake... Mementos Black ink.. 

Started with the heart, then I stamped the dirt (crumb cake) and I actually masked the Cactus Heart, then blending brushed the Daffodil around the cactus.  I stamped the flowers on the cactus, but didn't like the looks so I stamped them on Basic White and then die cut them and put them on I used adhesive under the small one and dimensional under big flower.

I was having a great time thinking outside the box and working with the Flowering Cactus set.  This card takes a lot of stamp sets, but it is so fun..... 

Stamps sets used: Flowering Cactus. Best Year (hello), Basket of Blooms (pot), Cute Fruit (smile face) and Hey Birthday Chick die for the sign. 

Stitched shapes the largest Circle.. Just for a pop of color. Added some artisan Sequins too.

Is it Spring Yet?

I'm sure lots of you are wishing it's spring right about now. 

This little card is really pretty quick, i used punches to make the little bunny and the suit  & Tie Die to make the bow. 

Heart punch, Oval punch and 1/2" circle to make the nose.

Okay a close up for you to see the bunny a little better.. I used light Flamingo Blend for ears, and a little on cheeks and then the light Petal Pink to blend it in. Used the black pen for whiskers and eyes

Good Morning, hope this is a good day for you as I write this post I'm hoping the weather holds out and I don't lose the internet it's going to get ugly here FAST, so I need to do this quickly...

Page 9 in the mini caddy.  Flowering Cactus! it's worth the price... I LOVE these things this paper is the BOMB!!! doing some fun stuff. This card I actually used the DSP and die cut the cactus and flowers for the front of this card. Stacked them like and boom it's awesome.. Regular card you just cut a section out of the front top. Down about 2 3/4" into the score line Use that for the Layering pieces on front...

Acts of Kindness

2/15/2021 Monday! 

Well Dang! I thought this was preset! Sorry! 

This card is a water color wash` using Water Color Paper.... So cool and really easy, just takes time need to wait for it to dry before stamping the image on top of the color wash! 

As you can see I didn't' do the piece completely with the wash on edge is showing one side not all washed.. 

The color is Calypso Coral, Then stamp the weeds in Mementos Black ink. 

On the words I used the Light blend to highlight the 2 words... added some layer and popped it all up on Dimensionals to the from of the base Basic White cardstock and added some black dots and done!
