Yep! that's right , his name is Mike but he's the Captain. Also my Brother in law. He had back surgery and having a rough go but mending. We sadly are missing Scallop season this YEAR!!! i['m bummed, but also totally understand.
So this card is a case, tweak from a lady named Kim, I think her site name is studio 54??? But she did a card very much like this one a while back and I really liked it and knew it would work for the Captain!
So I actually got an email from her saying how she got the idea from a catalog and she sent me a photo. I coped/printed and used that as a pattern to make the fish with a little tweaking on my part to fit etc. then just added strips of cardstock and then trimmed ran through an embossing folder gunked (ha is that a word?) up with a little ink to give a little more. Added a button eye! I had a piece of burlap ribbon I cut and pulled pieces from it then mounted the FISH!
