Pop Up Bee Box

Hi! Yes, I know a day late a dollar short! LOL this seems to be my like these days… This is a box I forgot to share when I was on a roll with all the Bee cards and stuff. Alright there you go! See the little Bee Box, it’s lots of work, but it was fun, when I created it I was trying to find my MOJO again, it’s why I picked to do something with lots of work to get the juices flowing for my creative side. 

This is a simple box, that I turned into a WOW..  It’s totally covered with DSP if you really look. 

It’s a half sheet of card stock  for the box. 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” score at 2, 4, 6, 8 turn and score at

2- 3/4” 

Cut up to the score line and you can go from there.

Rooster 3-D Project

Hello, well I wanted to share a hey chuck something today and I decided on a little project I made last week or maybe week before. LOL not feeling well I’m not totally sure. 

As I’ve mentioned before I LOVE making boxes and 3-D items I know it’s not everyone’s choice, but to me it’s all about the packaging too. My first thought was the roll of lifesavers and well the rooster how will he fit? I also knew I wanted to make a fence and not the stamp image in the set, so that is how this began. 

Base card stock size is 6” x 8 1/2” then score down each side of the 6” side at 1”, which means 1”, and 5” 

Turn it and score at 1/2”, 1 1/2”, 2 1/2” 3 1/2” and at 4 1/2” this last score is to make sure you line up evenly. you will put a white piece of card stock on the back it will cover that score line. 

This box is very simple. 

The  fence pieces are 1/2” by 4” and I  ran them through the embossing folder Timber 156406

I then sponged them with a little gray granite to grunge them up a little bit. the sun is also two pieces glued together to make a whole round sun… it’s behind rooster so it hides the line where is it overlapped.

Wacky Wednesday # 4

Welp! I had this all ready and went to post and the internet went out and I least the whole thing! Needless to say I was an upset camper. I’m going to attempt this again. 

Base card: 5 1/2” x 8 1/4” score at 1, 2, 3, 4

Top Card piece 4” x 4 1/2” score at 1/2”, 1 1/2” 

Use tear tape to put together for durability working card… This card folds down flat.

Base DSP column 3/4” x 5 1/4” (3)

Base 3” x 5 1/4” 

Base- White  Card-stock 4” x 5 1/4”

Little Lemon Bundt Cake Box

Hi Guys! Hope you had a great weekend and did something fun. Lol not so much here a few errands and relaxing. 

As promised last week these little cakes are soooo good. I found on a trip to the grocery store, and no I wasn’t looking but in my store they are on the same isle as peanut butter. Go figure.

Okay , so I made these two for my doctor and her front desks lady, Kathy had a birthday and my doctor said wrong day. Anyways it’s alls good. I shared one with a friend and she said same they are Delicious….  So you should try them trust me they are so good. 

Directions on box. 

Base size 7”x 11” 

Score Dow n 7” side @ 2”, and 5” 

Turn and score on the 11” Side 2”, 5”, 7” and 10” 

just a note on top lid portion, the side flaps you may need to trim them half the depth length for easier fit.

More than a Minute!

Wow, I know I’ve been MIA!  I’m here but life is a BEAST at times. March turned out to be bad month health wise and April seemed like a catch up on all I could. 

Now today is the lat day of the old catalog and tomorrow begins the new catalog and color refresh and let me tell you preparing for that was something. I will have tons of retired to list soon. But it’s exciting to have new core colors and new set of in-color colors coming beginning tomorrow. I know you have been probably seeing all over the place except here, so sorry. 

I’m going to give you a few photos all this DSP is retired technically. I did these at the first of March just before I got too sick to work in my office. 

So not too many details here. These cards were made with some EXCLUSIVE stamp sets Stampin’  Up! is doing now.  These little Rhinos are so cute.

There you go.  Yes, it will fold flat and fits like A2 card. Sorry for my absence, but it can’t always be helped and well if you have been with me awhile you know, I take the good with the good and the bad with the bad and keep moving forward, call you can do. 

Tomorrow will be a new card from new catalog. Stay tuned it seems to be a hit! I’ve had several requests for it from others who have seen it.  Suck a fun card. It’s on for tomorrow and I’ve given some thought to some things, so stay tuned. 

A Fish A Wish Card

Taco Fiesta Mini Tier Tray

It’s Taco Tuesday!!!!!! LOL! Yep I’m at again, well actually this was for a friend, but another friend, gave me a challenge! challenger met! Let me know what you think. Lots of fussy cutting fair warning…. 

First let me say this is mini tier tray you can get at Hobby Lobby, i think they come in three color this natural color and black along with white, but white might only be at Christmas? Not sure on that one. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yes! It’s real deal here people lot of fussy cutting but it was a fun, time and figuring it was fun too. Let see of she like’s it… I will let you know.

With this view you can see the Chile, Lime wedge and Chili pepper confetti I used in this stuff. And yes, I used the mini little square blocks from dollar tree to glue my items to to hold them up. In most cases I colored the black to blend in well with the item or used a few layers to cover the fronts with the multiple items on front to not show block. 

Okay, I know it’s not a card today, but I thought you’d enjoy another use for the Taco Fiesta set… Works great…….

Woohoo! It’s  finally arrived the new catalogs will be available today…….

I’ve been having issues with watermark when added it changes the photo and makes it a bit blurry so I didn’t add watermarks to these lets see how it goes.

First up combo photo then I will share what’s in the box. The box is not my original this time it’s been around a long time, I’m not even sure who originally made it but I saw it the first time from Ronda years ago. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The color is Sweet Sorbet and the DSP is from Country Floral 160375 So this is the card and the box.. LOL I call it a TACO box, I will explain that more next week. Yes, I have a super fun thing to share then too. 

The ribbon I used on the card and the box are new combo Real Red and Burlap Ribbon Combo pack 160386  I like it a lot. Was very easy to work with. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

YEP! It’s got as ring pop inside… LOL! I know to funny right, but I thought it was great… This box you can just slip the ribbon/heart off like a belly band, as you can see the front the top of the box flaps over to close, but this can also tuck inside and it works just fine that way as well. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This photo shows you it’s a fun fold card, I’m blaming my friend Lisa for all these fun folds, she started it! LOL, but it really isn’t hard and it’s a fun card. I chose to make this one, that you will write on the back, but you can easily write inside of it as well. 

This stamp set is one of the choices for this month’s cards in the mail. However this is not one of those cards, I don’t share those cards on the blog, one of the perks for doing the card class with me. But I did 2 fun folds for this set in my cards in the mail, if your interested drop me an email ASAP. It includes the stamp set and the pastel sequins, or you can choose the Friendly Gnome set.

CHRISTMAS CAKE BOX

I know, I’ve talked about this box before but I wanted to share. Little more about it and this is one I made for the girls at the doctors office along with a gift card.

if you look at the top photo here the box you can see a little better how I cut the tabs off for it to be a horizontal hinge. The tabs are only used in the front part of box to make the corners. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This photo you can see the long section which will become the henge on the box.

You may also notice that there is a little angle on the side  pieces, it just makes for a smoother opening and closing, you do not have to do that, but I have found it makes it a smoother open and close.

Just trying to give you a few more views of the finished box. It really is a simple box you can use for lots of things, and the ideas are unlimited, you can decorate for any occasion. 

I call it a cake box as it was the first item I made it for, I always make 3-D boxes and things. 

CAKE BOX:

Bottom Base 5 3/4”x 8” score all sides at 1 1/2“

 

TOP- 7” X 4 3/4” score all sides at 1” 

You can get one box out of 1- 8 1/2”x 11” piece of cardstock if you do same color bottom and top. 

My suggestion is this first cut he 8 1/2” side to 8” then Tuen and cut at 5 3/4”  (this is your bottom)

The remained piece turn to the 8” side cut the card stock at 7” turn and cut at 4 3/4” (this is your top). 

Decide how you open it and then go from there. Remember it can open either end or side, you just have to adjust it. Enjoy! 

I also made an ornament for it. Still using the north pole Mischief set. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Deckle Dies, and i also used the winter embossing folder on this card and cut my image out and did minimum colors to make them quicker, and get them done, the Merry merry tag is the smallest banner in the Stylish Dies, one of my most used dies. Added some gems and done!
