Gift Card Holder

Thursday- December 8, 2022 Still catching up but almost there for December! 

This was a gift card holder I made for a friend again great use for DSP to use up Christmas paper.

Base: 7 3/4”x 5” score on landscape side (7 3/4”side) score at 2 1/2” and 6” 

Belly Band 1” X 7 3/4” 

I used Layering Circles for the main tag on the belly band and cut out a candy cane to for added a bow and some sequins and I was done.

The  wording is from North pole Mischief *same set I made that cat/dog ornament earlier! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Gift Boxes

Wednesday - December 7, 2022

I titled this Gift Boxes as they can be used for many things but for me, I’m calling them Gnome boxes. I need some way to package up the double sided gnomes I made for the girls.  It’s LSO A GREAT USE/WAY TO USE UP ALL YOUR CHRISTMAS DSP! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The top one has a gnome in it. But not every one got theirs yet. LOL

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

These boxes held 1 gnome that I made that is double sided. I made wood gnomes I painted and decorated for the ladies in my BJAMY group, Let’s say it’s a LABOR OF LOVE, lol I’ve said gift cards next year. 

But you can used for a lot of things I think. 

 

Instructions for Box and Top:

Base of Box: I used Cardstock for bases, 8”x 10” Score all sides at 2” 

Tops, I used DSP for this. Base size 6 1/16” x 8 1/16” 

Some of you might wonder about the 1/16” of an inch, I’ve found with scoring and gluing not everyone is exactly on the mark, this 1/16” of an inch makes it happen with out any buckling or not fitting etc. And it will not make it loose. It will be just perfect even if you might be a tiny off gluing or scoring etc.

Joy Card and Ornaments

Monday- December 5, 2022 Catch up! Still 

Hi! 

This card is a case, tweak for me and I was looking to make Penguin things for my favorite down line. I made these for her for Christmas this year and made a few other things as well.

I will say these Letters are again from retired items, however we have a new set coming out, lots to look forward to in January 2023.

This ornament (goggles come from hippo die that was last SAB item) I put wink of Stella on the lens part. Labor of LOVE, not something I would want to mass produce as the trees are all cut by hand (fussy cut). But it is a special gift for a dear friend who likes Penguins! 

Let me see if I can find (far warning it’s a crappy photo, but it’s here. 

As you can see here it was some creativeness on my side to make this a 12 month Penguin calendar, but surprising myself I did this in one afternoon. This is a calendar that we (bunch of friends and Stampin’ Up Ladies) have used this mini CD calendar for YEARS!!!!! 

Alright one more Ornament AND IT’S NOT a PENGUIN one, it’s one I made for my son for his first tree in his apartment, which as we speak he has yet to out it up! He’s not feeling it he says this year (he’s been through a few things lately). I understand, but sad at same time as it’s his first place on his own. 

Polished Pink Christmas

Happy Tuesday, have a card here that well I don't think it came out as I had it pictured, but it's close...

I'm really not a Pink Person, but the POLISHED PINK is a FAST FAVORITE FOR ME!!!!! How about you? 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So it started with the Sparkle of Season stamp set, as that is my October set I'm making a kit with if you might be interested!  

I have used this Merry Christmas on so many cards! I will share some more soon. 

I used the DSP that has the Pink in it, Whimsy and Wonder Page 25 in the holiday mini catalog Item 156329

I cute the packages out of the DSP the trees I punch with the tree punch and Kind of went from there like a forest of trees then one that was the main Christmas tree. Added some gems and Merry Christmas and there you go. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The start is a Halloween enamel and I colored the purple colored one Pink~ the gems from the In-color gems~ 

The pot for the main tree was just a little square of paper and I trimmed it like that to make the pot~

Clever Cat Christmas

8/27-Friday

Hello I have another cat card for you today, as I had a girls day out then errands and didn't have the pig card ready for posting so here is one of my bonus cards for the Clever Cat stamp set.  The possibilities are endless!!!!!!!!

Little Pink Pig

Ho Ho Ho

8/16- Monday

 

Hello! Hope you had a great weekend. 

I'm sharing this strawberry punch card today with w little bit of Christmas cheer! the red stripes are just pieces of cardstock cut and adhered to the front of  the white base. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

the belt is just a small strip of Black cardstock, the holly is just the end of the strawberry the stem, I trimmed up to make it holly added a few red rhinestones and there you go 

The nose is the tag punch just like on Broom Hilda card on Friday. 

The hat is two strawberry punches one red, one white then trimmed to fit together for brim on hat!

Turkey on the Tree

Make up day 12/25- Christmas 2020

Merry Christmas to you and yours I know it's a little late, but it's still 2020 and I'm hoping you are doing well. 

My wish for 2021 is for EVERYONE to be KIND!!!!! it is FREE it doesn't cost anything to be kind to people!  Remember Everyone is going through something, reminds me of a time, awhile ago,  I was in Publix (one of the Main Grocery Stores here) with one of my sisters! I was behind her, and there was an older lady behind me, and I guess she was talking to me but I did not know this as I could not hear her. I didn't even know anything was up until my sister turned her head and bent around to speak to the woman behind me. She said, she isn't ignoring you she doesn't hear you! the woman replied! Well she doesn't LOOK deaf!  Hmmmm, What the heck does DEAF LOOK LIKE??? 

I often get that look, when I speak to someone that I am hearing impaired, I do not know what you are saying, YES I read lips very well, however if a person doesn't move lips or annunciate well the words they are saying it's a drop in the bucket for me as to what the heck they are saying, but people seem to believe that I can speak, I'm not deaf.  But the truth is I was not born Deaf, but gone deaf! Yes Meiner's has taken some as well, but it is a hereditary thing in the beginning. So Please remember to be kind when it's possible! 

IT"S FREE to be nice, even when people aren't nice. (SMILE) tell them their hair looks nice! and Laugh on the inside!!!!! 

Okay so No card today, just a little hope and JOY for all of us. And a little story about this little Turkey on my tree! Several years ago my little niece, actually she is my great niece, but who uses that fraze anymore. She's just my niece and I'm Aunt Jill.

She was visiting my sister a few years ago, and I was also there to visit, I'm not sure of the time, but I think it was during scallop season, Summer time she was making a project, It was turkeys! So maybe it was before Thanksgiving. But anyways, she made me this turkey and told me that it was for my Christmas Tree. So it has a place on my tree every year since then.

This year she made ornaments with glitter I think it was, I saw a post and told her mom to tell her I needed one to go with the turkey on my tree. Maybe I will get one.. We will see, but this Christmas was a bit Crazy (her Grammy, my sister fell down the stairs Christmas Eve, and Broke her Elbow, arm and Shoulder) She just got home today from surgery a few days ago.

Christmas Gifts for the girls!

Make up day! 12/23

Needless to say if you red make up day  12/22 you know this was not a GREAT DAY for me... So lets move on to the project... 

I decided to make several things for my BJAMY group, me being the J in the group not all things I made for myself. So they will only be 4 of these items here. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

One of the girls called these Lunch Pails but I'm not sure really what they are for. I used them a long time ago for Cards Kits, and some ladies turned them into carry all for the make and take items when they came to classes with me. They held scissors, adhesive, whatever they put in them, but a few months back i was clearing the clutter of the closet and said I should make these for the girls for Christmas so the Idea began, of who gets what color and item on there Tin. 

So the one on the left was for the A in the group and she leaves on the beach and has the vibe going on... the one on the right, she LOVES green, that was my starting point. However from there I was lost! Other than I knew,  I didn't want to make them Christmas them, I LOVE CHRISTMAS, but I wanted them to be year round, So lets add in the set HEY GIRLFRIEND, coming next month! I have had a ball with it. That's B on the RIGHT~ 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sooooooo, nope no Flamingo paper like this coming, but this CHICK is all about the Flamingos!!! So I had to add a little contraband (bad word) This is M in the group. 

I also failed to tell you that the backs are all solid one sheet of paper fronts are the half and half.. there is ribbon around each front and back edge too. No photos though.. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At this point I was feeling badly for the one girl would feel like odd man/woman out! So I made her a selfie too so if she wants to she can change it! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Okay, so this one is the Y in our group she also LOVES PURPLE!, but I used new DSP coming for her because, she won the ice cream set at ON STAGE, so it has 2 fold meaning for her... 

She didn't get her package till last Saturday because of all this delay crap with shipping everywhere so she didn't have my gifts the night we did BJAMY CHRISTMAS, I actually got dizzy our FACETIME, and had to take my meds and call hubs who stayed in the area because he had a feeling. 

So,  I really didn't get much time to talk to her and when she did get it I wasn't feeling up to FT. so she opened when she got and let me know how much she LOVED it.. 

They all LOVED the stuff I sent and made... Thank goodness.... Okay that is all for Wednesday make up! 

 

Gnome Gift Bags

12/8- Correct day!~ Tuesday

Good Morning! 

Well the delay was in my dates and it was in a loop I think, on Monday.  So this one should be good. 

I was working on some gift wrapping for a few friends. and I can't show you the tag, as I should have photo'd without the tag.. but I forgot until I was done.   So if you ware wondering why there is a sticker note on it that's why! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Same bag/Design, but the papers are different so the gnome on front is different..

Directions: 

Start with 2 pieces of 12X 12 DSP Making sure to score them the same and in the same direction if have directions pattern, be extra careful... 

You will score both the same. Put one together then it will insert into the final piece to make the bag~ 

at the top edge of your DSP score it at 1" this will be the top and it will turn down and show the other side of the patterned DSP, so look before you score!

the other 3 sides of the DSP all at 4" 

So to rephrase that top score @ 11" both sides @ 4" and the bottom at 4" 

When you fold the score line at the bottom you will cut up the two fold lines in the middle to make the bottom of the bag. 

Then punch holes for ribbon, sorry I didn't measure, " just tied from the spool.  holding up the first handle to get the second one about the same height.  

This is a very easy project and a great way to use up your left over DSP sheets that are Holiday!!! 

And nope, I can't tell you what's in the bag!
